Bubba Jones – Alternative versions of everything
Bubba’s resume is as wide and varied as they come. He has produced both locally and nationally as well as contributed his knowledge to grammy award winning artist, producer and engineers. His production carrier took off with the tutalidge of Diamond Dave Darlington in NY.
As Dave’s assistant Bubba worked on projects in:
Television - Assistant mixing engineer for the final season of the HBO series Oz.
House - Assistant engineer on mixes for Sandy Rivera and Kenny Dope.
Hip Hop - Co producer, engineer and musician for Cherrywine.
Jazz - Assistant Pro Tools tech for Russel Gunn.
Smooth Jazz - Assistant engineer, guitar and percussion for Kim Waters on the number one single Water Fall and In the House – Remix.
With the foundation given by Dave, Bubba has gone to work on local projects in the genres of Rock (Metal, Grunge and Alternative), and new national projects by Digable Planets, Bushwalla,
The Brand New Heavies, Joan Osborne and others. He’s been “The Alternative,” in reference to his ability to approach every genre with a twist that separates it from the rest of the pack. As a consultant on many other national projects, and an advisor to a host of award winning artist, engineers and producers you can hear his influence in their recording. “It’s not in the way you look at it, it’s in how you didn’t look at it! Erik Blood – Alt Rock
Erik is the preeminent Alt/Rock producer in Seattle. From The Turn Ons to The Lights, Charmparticles, Black Night Crash, The Catch, Charming Snakes and Lady Krishna, his sound is both a look back at the analog days of the "Wall of Sound” and the modern sounds of filters, samples and digital editing. Erik has reached beyound the Seattle market with his work on Mountain Con’s groundbreaking releases as well as his work on the future release of Cherrywine's (Ishmael Butler from Digable Planets) second solo album. Nikki Wolgamot – Electronica
Nikki is a graduate of the esteemed Shoreline School of Audio Engineering. Her talents lie squarely in making you shake your thang. She served as a ContactCreate intern for two years and perfected the art of capturing vocal perfomances. She is often brought in to handle vocal recording during projects and is noted for her sensitivity in working through the hurdles vocalists often trip over during tracking. Prior to this, Nikki is was a known fixture in the Seattle electronic scene as a performer and producer of mad beats. She has in the last few years expanded her ability to compose, edit sound and produce songs that capture your imagination. Nikki’s next show of prowess will be featured in the up coming debut release by Furnature Girls featuring the powerfully sensual voice of Stacey Meyer.
Jeff Brooks – Hip Hop
Jeff has one of the most incredible vaults of music known in the industry. Thousands of Hip Hop compsitions litter his hard drives, samplers and sequencers waiting to be unleashed. His technical skills range from the use of modern composing tools like the Korg Triton, Reason, Cuebase, Neuendo, Protools, the Roland Pantom and countless other devices, to a firm understanding of the recording environment. His inate abilty to find the hook of the song has left many to call him "The Natural." But not being one to rest on raw talent, Jeff followed up his "natural" talent with studies at the Shoreline School of Audio Engineering, where he maintaned a 4.0 GPA and spoke before audiences at conferences on music recording and production. His music has captured the attention of Dr. Dre, Dave Darlington and Digable Planets star Ishmael Butler among many other and will be heard on dozens of releases over the next two years.
Darrius Willrich
With two critically acclaimed albums behind him and a third in the pipeline, Darrius has revealed his natural gift as a singer/songwriter and producer, as well as his electrifying mastery of the keyboard. Initially influenced by the genius of Stevie Wonder and Prince, Darrius has crafted an original style all his own, capitalizing on his innate musical ability to combine diverse genres of music, from jazz to hip hop, electronica to soul and R&B. He is a cornerstone to Seattle’s live music scene collaborating regularly with the sensational soul revue Soul Provider, the sweet and intoxicating Choklate and worldwide hip hop/soul strong men Donyea Goodman, Vitamin D, Jake One and Bean One. He has played before audiences along side Tyrese, Macy Gray and Earth, Wind & Fire, Dilated Peoples, Public Enemy, Ozomatli, and Pharcyde.
In addition to collaborating with multi-genre sonic conspirator Chukimai, Darrius also co-writes with producer Brent Laurence on house beats for the UK club scene and beyond. He has also composed scores for four feature films by Sankosa Films. Darrius devoted his life to music at the age of 12 and has never looked back: from teaching himself to play by ear, to later graduating Summa Cum Laude from Cornish College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano, Darrius has refined his musical expertise to a level rarely matched by someone of his generation.

Dr. Charlie Hiestand – Classical, New Art
Charlie received his doctorate in music composition from the University of Washington school of music after having attended Berkley for his undergrad and Masters. This classically trained pianist also plays several other instruments and is known for both his Jazz and Gospel arrangements and perfomances. He list of compositions is lengthy. Most have only been performed live, but several have found their way to CD and Film. Many more are to be released in the up coming year. His second CD release, scheduled for delivery June 2007 is a collection of original songs fusing Classical, Jazz, Folk and Rock to create an eclectic work that sums his talents and makes a clear statement about his special ability to compose, arrange and produce. His first film score will appear in the short "Sunday" by McCall Jones and will be a Sundance submission as well as the Seattle film festival.
Dr. Robert Cooper
Dr. Cooper is nationally known and respected conductor and arranger.
His services include project management, talent selection for symphonic recording, and conducting. Dr.
Cooper's way with the production team is tempered yet demanding and his professionalism is realized
in his ability to meet the performing and recording standards, while also meeting the time and financial
goals set by the producer. Dr. Cooper's standard of excellence was forged during his years of
education. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in voice and opera from the University of Memphis a Masters
and PhD degree in Music in Conducting from Northwestern University and the University of Washington.
He began his professional career with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and has performed extensively
in opera, in addition to musical theatre. His roles includes Angelotti
in "Tosca", Rigoletto and the Usher in "Rigoletto", Porgy in "Porgy & Bess," Joe in "Showboat"
and Booker T. Washington in the broadway musical hit "Ragtime." While growing up, during and after
college Robert was very fortunate to meet and work with some of the world's greatest conductors.
Singing with major orchestras conducted by Aaron Copeland, Leonard Bernstein and Sir. Georg Solti.
He sang for Copland at the age of 13 singing in his opera "The Second Hurricane" his first meeting
with Aaron Copeland.
Dr. Cooper's last full concert season back in 2003-2004 included a Ring Gala
with the Boston Symphony, an appearance at the Kinen Festival in Japan, four performances of Beethoven's
ninth with the Vancouver Symphony. In 2004-2005 he worked with author Nancy Rawles and her title book
"My Jim" writing, composing and performing musical numbers for a performance of "My Jim". Dr.
Cooper is currently taking a sabbatical from academia for a few years to work on original compositions
for opera and stage as well as scoring and conducting to film.
Lawrence R Sims Jr.
Lawrence is the understudy of both Dr's Hiestand and Cooper. Having discovered a love of recording live
Classical and Jazz performances at the age of 14, Lawrence has developed his skill as both a recordist and composer. Influenced heavily by his generation's Alt/Rock sceen, Lawrence offers compositions that lend themselves to a sylistic synthesis that are both modern and progressive.
His ability to oversee the recording of his and others' compositions is growing in stature with his partnership in the new classical label, ContactCreate classical releases. With new CD's from Robin Johnson, Cathy Stegman and Mark Richards, his development as a producer of classical
works is on the rise. As for scoring for film, Lawrence has worked with Sankosa Films on eight projects. Serving in various capacities ranging from composing and arranging to syncing and mixing. His work on the up coming short film "Sunday" as well as the new untitled production by
Hugh Berry for - STATUS FACTORY PRODUCTIONS - will further his resume of forward reaching works that out as both timeless and unique.
